Shinjuku is a super active area of Tokyo with all kinds of stores, entertainment, and lots of lights (it's lit!). It's home to the busiest railway station in the world, and where the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings are located. I spent my first day in Japan wandering around this beast of a neighborhood and got some pretty cool pictures. (click pictures for full res)
This city is huge (Trump voice) and seems to go on forever.
It seems like everyone is a businessman here.
The sun sets kind of early here, but I think that has more to do with their time zone than anything.
So many people use public transportation and walk.
A lot of people wear these masks, like a lot. Maybe they know something I don't...
Lots of motorcycles and scooters as well.
Long shadows make for cool pics.
There's an observation deck on the 45th floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building that was pretty cool to see.
Navigating the trains has been pretty easy so far.
idk, I just thought it was a cool picture.
