Gameday at Moody Coliseum
SMU basketball is 45-3 at home since the beginning of 2013. For the most part, this can be attributed to two things; heavy caliber talent and a heavy caliber home atmosphere. In 3 years of shooting at Moody Coliseum, I have seen a last second game winner, 2 court rushes, and countless of other monumental moments. The highs are very high in Moody, but there can also be significant lows. When a SMU player was ejected from the game against Cincinnati, with 9 minutes to go in the first half, it seemed as if the chips might finally be stacked against them in their rowdy home environment. However, It was no surprise that the Mustangs sent those chips crashing to the floor in dramatic fashion and continue to be one of two unbeaten teams left in college basketball.
