We left Dallas at Midnight on a Thursday, drove straight to Mill's Canyon and set up camp by 9am Friday. Once we set up camp, we hiked around the canyon until the sun went down and waited for the night sky to light up. We chose Mill's Canyon because it was one of the darkest spots in the country, and we figured not many other people would be camping there in the middle of November. After a night of below freezing temperatures, we decided to hit the road to Santa Fe before heading back to Dallas. Ended up getting back at around 5am, but it was well worth it.
